When I was a kid I remember seeing the Burger King in commercials. He was a real guy. He danced around performing magic and helping kids get Burger King meals. All that seems to be left of the Kings legacy is the paper replica of his crown that you can get for the little scamps.

and why do both ronald mcdonald and the burger king have red hair?

speaking of which, I've been to the very 1st bk lounge... it's The first location is at 3090 NW 36th Street, should you care to visit.

*hungry

I want onion rings!

He's the Marvelous Magical Burger King!
He can do most anything!

Personally, I sided with the Duke of Doubt. I just couldn't trust a guy with such a fake smile.

Two questions:

Who would win in a sissy fight? Ronald Mc Donald or the Burger King?

Just what *$!# kind of creature was Grimace?

I think Grimace was a sad, and badly veiled, rip-off of the Cookie Monster combined with Oscar The Grouch.

I don't remember the Burger King adverts, but I'm all for Ronald getting his ass kicked from here to the flame-broiled half acre of hell.

Oh, you know that in some cultures red hair is considered evil, bad luck, sinister?

Both my Cat and my Sweetheart have beautiful manes of red and orange.

If that's bad luck, gimme some more!

Grimace, believe it or not, is a huge honking taste bud.

Grimace wasn't always the kind and gentle creature that he is today. Originally a six-armed creature known as "The Evil Grimace", today's friendly purple fellow would run around stealing children's shakes. To my knowledge there was never even a "transition" episode where he lost those extra four arms, so it looks like McDonald's is trying to pull a fast one on us.

I made up the taste bud thing. He's a redeemed shiva.

Well, it would explain his name... or perhaps it's a hint to the customers... "you really don't want to eat that"...

But it's not Tuesday!

Definately Mc D ~ I mean, he even has his own boyz to back him up, who does the King have, pray tell? The worst thing K could do is toss hot tater tots at D & the gang, and honey, that ain't gonna stop a pissed off McBurgler (he already has crime in his blood!).

Just what *$!# kind of creature was Grimace?

I'm not too sure on that one but I think he's related to Barney in some perverted way.

he can't be Barney's evil alter ego.....

2) thus, barney is the evil one.... and I truly believe, barney is pure evil. I hate him more than you hate the pilsbury dough buy!

the *best* onion rings I've ever had were at a burger restaurent in boston (harvard square, actually)- really, really thinly sliced onions, so they actually caramelized when they cooked, (mmmm.... sweet) with lottsa batter. delish.
