They're bragging about "thousands" being on the national mall?

The National Mall in Washington, D.C. receives an average of 68,000 to 137,000 visitors per day, without a "fair". I'd say attendance was even lower than any other given day without it.

Having a competitive eating contest with only four contestants is pathetic, but that the winner of this pancake-eating competition isn't decided on merit-as in, who eats the most pancakes-but is based on who gets the most applause is a perfect metaphor for how Trump views... well... everything.

It seems like the Woman’s March had a stronger emphasis on how to implement change over the Science March appearing to mostly being a “stand up and be counted” / “preaching to the choir” vibe. Am I mistaken in that perception? 

Both are excellent causes, but I wonder about the difference in approach.

The attempt to roll back net neutrality has officially begun.

Ajit Pai, the Trump-appointed chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, laid out plans Wednesday to limit the agency’s oversight of Internet service providers, potentially weakening enforcement of net neutrality.

The net neutrality rules, approved by the FCC in 2015, are intended to keep the Internet open and fair. The rules prevent Internet providers from playing favorites by deliberately speeding up or slowing down traffic from specific websites and apps.
