Ok. I just registered for a permanent account with LJ. (My treat to myself for getting off my backside and actively interviewing around... besides, I really enjoy this place.) I have about 6 months left on my current year-long account, which was donated to me by a very generous benefactor. In the spirit of my first gift, I'm going to give those 6 months to the most personally compelling reason why they'd like to have them (if nobody asks for it, I'll toss the time into the menstrual hut community, that seems to be a bennie, and then it can be tweaked a bit more)

So, here's how it'll work. Just ask! (preferably 500 words or less... ) The one that tugs at my heartstrings the most, gets it. If you prefer, you can e-mail me in private, and I'll keep your entry private... or just reply here, and display to the world why... maybe you'll move some other soul to get you one, if not me! :)

I'll leave this post up for a week.. and on March 24, 2001, I'll post who won.

I saw the fund-raiser notice as soon as it went up. Within 5 minutes of the post, I was trying to buy one. But *argh* paypal is screwing with me. I guess cause I'm "foreign" (hehe). It could take up to 4 days for my paypal account to be set up. But Brad's looking after me - what a nice guy, huh?
PS this is not an entry for your paid account time. I'm just chatting :)
PPS wouldn't ya know it... I bought my paid account this morning - no joke. So I have a whole years worth to put somewhere....
