Well I think this is where the language shows its age---we are talking about an age where being wounded with an armament means being skewered by a sword pretty much---so the modren adaptation could have quite a few translations I suppose. I dunno we've established I'm nary a latin scholar myself!!! I need to pull out my old latin books! Difficile est tenere quae acceperis nisi exerceas.

Yes it does. My father was from a small town in Texas (is that still considered southern?)and so all us girls received names like this.
