Sakes, insane night so far tonight on call.

Brief Summary of my cases in the first *HOUR* from 5pm-6-pm EST -

• Sexual Predator in Okeechobee County, FL



• Mother in Jesup, GA who first reported her 3 year old as kidnapped, and then it turns out she killed her child - searching for the body over three counties I'm guessing this one will be all over the news - I wonder if they'll get many of the facts right?



• Habitual Runaway in Hollywood, FL



• 11 yr old wander-off Autistic kid in MI



• two school pals who hit the road for some reason in Nye County, NV - ran off into the desert [edit - the two girls in Nye were recovered, and they're safe and sound, save for whatever punishment a pissed off parent might give.]



• A kid in Thomaston, CT - Another habitual, fresh move [edit - called home for a pickup when he got cold and tired of being out and about]

No Alzheimer's folks yet today, which is just fine. That's a different sort of case. Kids are usually easier to snag, because they usually don't have access to a vehicle.

Fortunately, this stuff usually has a happy ending... that mom in Jesup is an uncommon exception.

I really feel for the parents, and the officers on the scene that have to deal with the emotional upset right there in person.
