The video cube was interesting.. six screens playing stuff facing a central multifaceted plexiglass "crystal" which made for some spiffy reflections!

I don't remember if they're terra cotta, but you jogged more of my memory! Didn't he force his workers to make them, so they could stand and guard him after his death, or something?

There was something about it that felt a little creepy to me...i don't remember what, though. Oh...! Their heads were cut off or something, after they were made?

Ft L sure is a shiny new-looking place with extremely blue sky. I liked the video cube too, vaguely SL-ish, looks like some of the fireworks at Ethereal Teal. The casts were awesome, like that poor sad man waiting for the bus at Port Authority bus station in NYC, but even more anonymous. Headless! How anonymous can one get... shudders. Also some of the most viewer-friendly non-hostile graffiti I've ever seen. Will take a walk with you anytime :)

I am dancing around my kitchen to PM Bolero too. Flinging about enormous wet bushes of basil, hands fragrant with garlic, slick and shiny with olive oil sheen. Definitely green around the edges. XXX

The sky is a beautiful blue most times, and even stormclouds can be lovely. florida has some of the most beautiful sunsets that I've ever seen, though for good stargazing at night, you need to venture west to the 'glades, due to the light pollution elsewhere.

I bet your hands smell fantastic!

I'd be happy to take you on walkabout sometime.. I think sticker-art is a little less environmentally and property unfriendly, because it's more easily removed.

2. Doohickiy is a slang word for an item. you can replace it with the word "thing" but doohicky sounds more fun.

3. Some crazy art project.... not sure what the meaning is, but the artist is hungarian, if that helps at all. They're done in bronze.

oh, my camera is a tiny pinhole in the side of my palmtop... unless they're looking for it, they'll never see it.

Andre the giant is a wrestler... he was in a few movies too, like the princess bride. That sticker is what his face looked like.

this camera is pretty feeble next to my digicam, but that took a bad bounce and so now I'm left with this one... the images look better then scaled down, sort of blur out at fullsize. :)
