You played no small part in a large number of nicknames I had as a kid, and it still comes up to this day.
"Beam me up, Scotty" wasn't so bad. Not bad to be associated with the character of a miracle-worker who liked a nip now and again. Surely beats the "Shop at Scotty's", "Mary, Queen of" or "Scot-towel/tissue" stuff.
Scot Free (or Scott Free) isn't so bad, nor is "Great Scott!"
Nobody gave me any nicknames based on Geraldine Fitzgerald.
I was complimented on my eyes by the phlebotomist yesterday. Nice gal, and her needle-stick technique was outstanding.
Nice collection of applications that run directly off of a usb "thumb" drive. I may start carrying mine again! (for Security and system maintenance tools, if nothing else)
