When he was giving a campaign speech in Detroit for the 2000 election, Lieberman said that he didn't consider atheists or agnostics worthy of First Amendment protections because they weren't religious. To that, I give the finger, and most sincerely hope that he doesn't get the democratic nomination.

*Nobody* is unworthy of the First Amendment, no matter how much you disagree with them.

Turkish surgeons remove giant hairball from teenager's stomach

Surgeons in eastern Turkey have removed a two-kilogram (more than for pounds) hairball from the stomach of a 17-year-old girl, the remnant of a childhood eating habit thought to be linked to psychological problems.

The hairball in her stomach is the result of the hair that she has eaten in her childhood... She has lived with it for the last 15 years," Enver Sultanoglu, the doctor who operated the girl in Van city told Anatolia news agency.

He said eating hair and wool was generally seen in young people suffering psychological problems.

I would hope that anyone before making a blanket statement would turn it around, puting themselves on the focus point before saying stuff like he did.

Saying something like "Jews obviously have no first amendment rights, because they don't have my spiritual beliefs" would (and rightly so) raise a hell of an uproar, I'd think.
