yay! I ordered my digicam today, it'll be here in the next 2-3 working days!

got that, a few rechargeable batteries, and a 128 meg flash "film" pack. Soon, walkies and piccies will be more visual. fear not, I'll put up thumbnails and / or lj-cuts.

Don't forget to make sure it's got a USB card reader, because transferring pics from the cam to pc via serial cable is a frigging torture. Also, get an AC adapter so you don't suck the battery life out of your rechargeables when the camera is docked at the pc. The spec sheets and products pages for the cam on the company's website, will tell you what's best to get.
