Scotto, have you ever had "swimmer's ear"? It HURTS. My doc told me to prevent it, that I should swab my ears with alcohol after swimming or showers. It dries the water up. I'm sure there is probably some reason NOT to do this, but I've been doing it since I was a teen with never a problem.

Tilt your head to the side (water-logged ear down) and hop up and down on the opposite foot. If that doesn't do it then at least you'll have a laugh at yourself.

I am very prone to that too. Hate it. You could try one of the swimmer's ear drops from the store, OTC and not too pricey. Some are made with alcohol, others with other compounds, but they can help.

Hope you feel better soon!
