My first recorded post on usenet, about 8 years ago. Typed from my FAU account, still barely active, about a year after graduation. I thought I'd posted to usenet before that, but perhaps I'm getting BBS stuff and Fidonet mixed up. Maybe an older email address? I'll have to try out my old aliases...

A typo. On Christmas. My stance has since changed as Beakman burned out and faded away, but Nye labs grew with better writers and experiments....but you have to admire a scientist that explains boogers, and has a guy named Lester in a rat suit and a hippie-chick as sidekicks.

Does it only work for groups that are still in existance, can't seem to find any of my early stuff from 96/97 as the original newsgroup seems to have vanished.

I did that, but it wouldn't take it back far enough, had to get a bit creative with the advanced search and my surname (which I stopped using after only a few short weeks once I learned the concept of not giving out info online) to find what I wanted. Thanks for the tip! :)

More physically pleasing, but josie had more inner "glow" and charisma, in my opinion.

Scott, I made posts in 1987, but the first one of mine that shows up on google is 1992, I think.

Yeah, I thing my first ones started in '87, as well. not sure where those went... maybe lesser-known groups? or lost backups?

My first post was in 87 too and its missing as well. (And a bunch of others!) I only come up in january 93. :(

But I have found and salvaged a few articles from it, I posted a few in my journal, so overall I'm a happy camper and OWE SCOOTBEAR BIG TIME for reminding me of this! :)

s'ok. I found what was most important so that is great. ALSO there is some glitch where I can search on my name better than my address on certain years. Anyhow... I am a happy camper.
