I take pride in bringing people the knowledge they need, even if they didn't think they wanted it.

Newt took his medicine like a good boy tonight, unlike the "woohoo, chase me all over, it's a game, it's a game" gig this morning. I'm estimating there's another weeks' worth of this stuff left, and It's actually getting to be more routine. I wonder if newt'll ever get so used to it that he'll miss it when it's gone? I'm glad he doesn't seem to resent being held by the nape and having droppers of pink goop poured down his throat.

It was part of a job in a zoo nursery. She has a good 'intention' on that website, but it turns my stomach to see an ad for purchasing primates on there. *sigh*

People can't care for the basic cats and dogs, and the exotics suffer a worse fate, imo. I hate seeing them sold as pets/companions. Its certainly a small minority where they end up in a home that 1) knows what its getting into and 2) can handle that. (And this includes assisting people with disabilities.)

What's with the shorts and belt? I can totally understand the diaper. I just hate it when people put clothes on animals. Not cute!!

Added on in Photoshop or something. Cats don't like hats (shut up, I know it rhymes).

yeah, photoshopping one on is the only way he'd wear something like that long enough to be posed and photographed.

Don't know if you've ever read Shelley's journal at shelleyness.com, but I follow it faithfully. Her writing style (though a bit profane, much like me) cracks me up, and she's as animal-crazy and photo-crazy as I am.

Anyhow, she recently posted pictures in her entries of one of her cats modeling clothing (http://www.shelleyness.com/2001/339_111101b.html) (with hilarious commentary), and with food items perched on her head. (http://www.shelleyness.com/2001/331_091901.html) Might give you a good laugh. =)
