blogger is essentially livejournal's evil twin... (or good twin, depending on your perspective)... it's a journaling site that has you update via a web client, but store all the data on your own webspace. for an example, feel free to swing by here - http://scottobear.com/blog/blog.html the nice side of it is that you can put all the funky java or whatnot you want, and if blogger goes down, your journal is still taggable... none of the bennies like friends or interests lists, though.
