Yeah, it wouldn't work in a non-Microsoft browser.

well, on a non-visual script supported browser, anyhow. (there's a couple out there, but MSIE is the biggest)

I was hoping that not all scripts had been killed... I'm still mourning the loss of flash and java in my lj entries

it depends on your browser. there are a few *nix browsers that support the script.
