And thanks for the manatee! I love them soooo much. My dad took me to Homossassa to see them when I was down last Christmas, and I brought a little furry one home with me. : )

I've never swum with them, but I have walked along the canals, watching them feed on the nearby seagrasses. they're *big*! :)

Fluffy? Acually they have a very rough thick skin with tough little invisible hairs. (They're a mammal you know. And all mammals have hair/fur. Even dolphins. And manatees. And all whales.) Ever seen a dolphin hair? :) Likely not, since they are often lost just after or just before they are born. At the tip of the rostrum. You can still see the dimple spots there where they were though...
