Is it just me, or is this guy condoning the use of drugs in order to "stop" the drug war? What a freak. Maybe we should just legalize them all, so the people that do use them can overdose and filter out the gene pool a bit.
I think that legalizing some of them is a many-sided issue... I honestly think MJ is no worse that alcohol (but alcohol is horrid...and if it was introduced today would never be allowed to become legal. same goes for refined sugar, for that matter. or Salt.)
as for drugs and drug users, I do think the best plan is to attack the problem and not the person... along the same lines of hate the sin, love the sinner... to use a cliche. I think it shows an interesting spectrum of users... from the bland and mundane, to the tragic, to some of the positive sides of that sort of thing.
i think perhaps he's trying to make the point that drugs do not turn people into monsters.. people tend to think of drug users as these sub-humans to which any sensible person couldn't relate. but ordinary people use drugs. one in 4 americans has used an illegal drug.
also, legalization would not increase deaths by drug overdose. in places were heroin is legal and regulated, there are faw fewer deaths from overdose, lower rates of transmission of hiv and hepatitis, and lower crime rates. there is no higher incidence of drug addiction. just f.y.i.
I don't know, some of that I'll still use, so, I can't very well condemn his efforts per se, but, I will say that for the harsher things, there is absolutely nothing a photo can express about what it does.
I find that site extremely interesting. Thanks for sharing.
It reminded me of something incredibly stupid I did in my past. If there had been a sober one among us that night, they would have carted me to the hospital. I almost lost my shit..as one of my friends was fond of saying. Seriously, I thought I was dying.
I wonder if that crack chic was able to not do it again. she seemed to like it alot.
I hope she doesn't go back to it, either... I know what you're saying about losing one's shit. I have a pal who went through the worst time of his life on mushrooms. He thought he was dying too... and we were miles from civ... on a camping trip.
I would have liked to have seen more commentary about what went on, and maybe a couple more pictures especially for the people who were on drugs for like 6+ hours.
I would have liked to have looked at the photos, but whoever made the site didn't consider that not everyone has a large monitor. I can't click on the 'Next" icon because it is below the border, way down at the bottom of my screen. *pouts*
