I really didn't find this question disturbing at all. It's a year off the end of my life, right? All these people with 50million and such.... yeah, sure! Half a mil would buy me a house, free and clear - and have some left over for investments... Sounds like a good story, I can think of a good couple of ways it could go. Do NOT throw this idea away, it's fundamental and could be deeply enriching.
