You can hide your list of who you're a friend of on your bio page, if you so desire.

Nice, if somebody with a vulgar name wants to read you, or whatever your reasons might be to hide it.

lj newsgroup. you can change it in your 'edit bio page'... it's a checkbox near the bottom.

i have never thought it anybody else's business, though
some people think very cliquishly and will not be friends with someone who is friends of someone else.
