I saw a program on the bbc about the babies remembering music they heard in the womb. The Sunday Times wrote a bit about it that I found amusing:

"The most satisfying sight is one-year-old Matthew, raised on classical music by his parents, who suddenly explodes into delighted handclapping as he is played music by the pop group Five."

In the program it did seem that the babies had a preference for pop music over any other. :)

Of course, I read that selectively.

"The most satisfying sight is one-year-old Matthew,... who suddenly explodes... as he is played music by the pop group Five."
