I went there while in Paris. We had only two hours to spare. I decided that I must see Nike of Samonthrace, and the Mona Lisa. I saw both, along with a number of other very beautiful, impressive paintings. You get a neck cramp walking through, the cielings are so Baroque; covered in gold leaf and fat cherubs, and beautiful colors and chariots. The French aren't exagerating when they say it's the finest museum in all the world. It really is.
