another one of my heroes, a villain?

Paula Poundstone was arrested today on charges of child abuse and committing a lewd act with a minor under the age of 14.

I'm heartbroken. She's a great comedian, and a clever wit.

What was I saying about heroes having human failings?

She was one of my favorite parts of Mother Jones Magazine

Well, I'm done with this computer thing for tonight.

I don't mind people having human failings - but this goes beyond being human. This is wrong. And I like her so much!

wow that is kinda freakie. I hope that it was something as innocent as giving the kids raspberries on their bellies and some other super freak just took it the wrong way.

I am quite sure that it is nothing as bad as it seems.

I am going to watch this one close, because I am sure that it was just a misunderstanding. The lady is class I think! Hillareous and really just not what this accusations are leading some people to believe.

Oh, this just can't be true! I'm with everyone else...just going to hope it was something innocent blown way out of proportion. She's one of my heroines, too!

Given the record of California law enforcement and child molestation, there's a better than even chance it's either spew from a vindictive little $h!+ who's watched too much _Jerry Springer_, or the result of a "recovered" memory...

Of course, if it's real, sign her up for a drano enema, but don't jump to conclusions... Lives are needlessly ruined that way...
