I figure, a guy who's been in bar fights that often is more likely to be drunk when we meet up, thus. ;) For the sake of the analogy though ... yeah, I agree, hands on generally works out better than purely book learning.

I chose the bar guy. If he's been in bars every single weekend for the past 6 years, I'm thinking that all the alcohol consumption has left him out of shape and with the beginnings of emphyzema from all the cigarette smoke. I could at least outrun him. ;-)

i'd have to say the guy in the bar, because even if he's been bar fighting for 6 years, he could be too cocky to fight right and if he's had a few, his perseption and alertness would be off. and it would be easier to pick his ass.
