Have you ever read "Next Men?"

In that, if I remember correctly, they had one person gain super-powers from a STD.

Nope, but I believe it. I thought they were all genetically engineered?

I'm not sure, I only read that one issue (and didn't really find it worth committing to memory in detail), but it had one of the Next Men (the name Danny is flashing inside my brain) bump uglies with a woman, and the morning after the woman suddenly had super-powers, and it was implied it was from sleeping with "Danny."
