"Staff are requested not to use the eye patches in this first-aid kit to impersonate 'pirates' or other characters. They are for medical use only."
Notice taped to the side of a first aid box

Man, I'll just have to bring mine from home. I didn't know I was allowed to do that at all!

He's back living next door, and playing it cool for now.

I remember when my son Nick had a problem with one of his eyes....He was only 5 years old...and the Dr. made him wear a black patch.....

I was SO not expecting that!! LOL

Then again, after working in sports bars and knowing that YES, we DID do stuff like that every day, I know that it is completely necessary. Bored waitstaff cannot be expected to behave ;)
