Date: 2001-06-06 02:28 pm (UTC)When I was trying to take it off, I began by removing the bobby pins (hair pins). I had a huge pile of them - we counted, there were 51 - and the thing still wouldn't move. I was so tired. I gave up and went to sleep with it on. In the morning, I took out more bobby pins and then just yanked on it as my hair crackled and broke, until it finally came free. I was tempted to wear it a second day.
