Wow... pearl harbor got really peed on by the critics. Overall, according to rottentomatoes.com...

Pearl Harbor tries to be the Titanic of war movies, but it's just a tedious romance filled with laughably bad dialogue. The 40 minute action sequence is spectacular though.

Maybe I'll just skip that one. Looks like Shrek is the way to go. :)

Don't you just love RottenTomatoes.com? They've been one of my "Favorites" since they only had about 4 movies reviewed. It's great to see how much they've expanded and improved!

BTW, if you're looking for a good movie that isn't a mindless summer blockbuster, I highly recommend "Memento" and "Tailor of Panama."

Cool new site to check out! There's only two movies I'm looking forwards to watching this summer: shrek and AI (dunno if that'll be out here by summer though)! About you Scotto what are you looking forwards to watching?

I would definately recommend Shrek. That is, if you're into the whole "let's mock some Disney cartoons" thing. I saw it and it cracked me up so much. I'm thinking about getting the soundtrack, too, it should be an interesting one with quite the collection on it. There are several subtleties in Shrek that make me want to go see it again to make sure I was seeing things correctly! :o)
