I’d like to be laid out in the woods and just let whatever animals or elements take what they want for food, after any spare useful parts are donated to those in need.

Barring that, I’d like to be composted.

I really don’t care to be embalmed, and creation seems a waste of resources.

Dig a hole in some woodsy area where my kids can go for a hike if they want to, toss my remains into the hole (no embalming, please), add some dirt, plant a nice tree on top and leave me to the worms and roots and the passage of time.
