Date: 2001-04-21 04:22 pm (UTC)My Dad's doing pretty well, thanks for asking. He just went in last week for some extensive heart tests and learned that he doesn't have a blockage at all. He does, however, have a weak muscle on one side of his heart that may have been there since he was a child. So, the doctors are going to do one more round of tests to see how severe it is. More than likely, he'll just have to take medication that will thin his blood and put less pressure on his heart. They still haven't found the source of the 'mini-stroke' yet... which leads most of us to believe that it was just him overexerting himself.
The houseguest is doing quite well and making me happy. We've had a great time so far just talking and hanging out. :)
