 DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency  reports that a large demonstration known as the “Million Mask March” is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Washington Monument and at Lafayette Park near the White House.  The demonstration is anticipated to start at 9:00 a.m. and continue into the afternoon and evening rush.  In the past, this event has resulted in arrests and entrance closures for the Ronald Reagan Building. This year, the organizers have announced their intent to disrupt the evening rush hour by blocking vehicular traffic in downtown Washington.  The event is aimed at the White House, but has spilled over to federal buildings in the surrounding area.  Be prepared for a rough commute in the evening rush hour.
