The Republicans had a good night last night, eh? You can check out the 2014 Mid-Term Elections results over at Politico, but the upshot is that the Republican kept the House and snagged the Senate. Enjoy two years of that hot mess, y’all.

That puts it about the way I feel.

We are going to have some struggles for the next couple of years, both locally in my neck of the woods here in Maryland and as a nation as a whole.

The results of the 2014 Town of North Beach Election went counter to my hopes, as did Calvert, and Maryland as a whole.

I do my best to not be disappointed by the political machine, local politics can be disheartening at times.
