Thank you all again for choosing to volunteer with us during the Second Annual End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival! The boats are already on the beach, and it’s going to be a great day!
Practices have been underway all week and have gone wonderfully. The teams are ready and looking forward to tomorrow!
Important Information:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your “arrival time” so you have time to park. Please carpool if possible – parking will be limited.
Park in any legal parking spot near the 3rd – 5th street portion of the boardwalk.
When you arrive to the Boardwalk, check in at Volunteer Registration (located in the Volunteer Tent on the grassy lot at 3rd st.)
Please wear your white volunteer t-shirt if you have already received it. If you haven’t received it yet, you will get it at check-in. Also, wear comfortable shoes, just in case!
Panera is providing bagels and coffee for breakfast and Papa John’s is providing pizza for lunch. Water and Gatorade will be available for volunteers. Also, feel free to shop around at the food vendors before or after your shift.
