I have a snow flake crochet pattern called "Edelweiss." Hmm....

What does "Edelweiss" mean anyway? I'm guessing snow flake.

Literally? "Nobly knows"... but the plant is a lovely one, a snowy white flower.

The german for snowflake is Schneeflocke...
