It seems that the "heart land" of California has been infested by giant flying Grasshoppers. Gen.DesTroll hopes to scare them away with a giant bird mad of twigs, leaves, a spider's webbing, and a walnut shell, but many fear that these giant insects may have already seen the movie "A Bug's Life"... We'll continue our live coveage as it happens but first first we need to take a 3 hour station break....

Oooh - that reminds me of a prank these guys did in my favorite movie, CKY2K (it's what Mtv's Jackass is a spinoff of). They caught a bumble bee in a little box and stuck it in the freezer - when it was frozen into shock, unable to move, they tied a string around his thorax. So when the bee unthawed and tried to fly away, he couldn't because he was on leash. It looked like a little kite buzzing around!! I shouldn't laugh, or PETA will get me, but it was so stupid . . . ahem. Very immature, and I had no part in it at all.
Except laughing uncontrollably ; )
