groovin'

I'm only rooting for the Ravens for two reasons.

1. Edgar Allen Poe was an Idol of mine as a boy.

2. My girl is rooting for 'em. :)

In more important news... Cartoon bowl was on yesterday, and Daffy Duck actually beat Bugs!! All right!:)

I actually am not watching the game... I figure the cool commercials will play after the game too, so neh.

Besides, I had bigger fish to fry. Got to talk to the lovely and delightful one... got my VAGG apparatus in gear, so I should start sending those in the mail tomorrow, at a rate of about 10 or so a day. I hope not too many of the VAGGies don't wuss out on me... I'd like to get some hellos from all the niceys out there...

html!

(center)(img src="http://www.artofeurope.com/groovin.gif" alt="groovin'")(/center), replacing the parens with greater lesser. :)

It felt incredibly light and crispy, like an optimally baked croissante.

6:00? 6:30? I wasn't really keeping an eye on it either.

I'm sending you one!

Even though you're not on my list. Heh.

Anyway, I was going to maybe send a b-day card too, if that's alright....

Two things:

did you at least catch the "amazing" half time show? Come on! N'Sync, Aerosmith, Britney . . . okay, it sucked.

and secondly, about VAGG. I signed up but haven't received anything about it yet. They were supposed to email us with instructions, right? I hope I didn't miss something in the directions?

I've always liked different ones at different phases in my life. For awhile The Masque of the Red Death was one, then the Tell-Tale Heart. But right now I like The Raven.

My fave is Annabel Lee (I can probably still quote it by heart). No clue why :P

I also like the Cask of Amontillado and Fall of the House of Usher (I think I liked the latter so much because I -think- learned the words Fantasmagorical and Gossamer from it-- odd what one remembers! :P)

I love EAP. Have since I first read his stuff as a youth. I feel like I know him or something.

Weird and disquieting, but oddly comfy nonetheless.

Amontillado!!!
A fine one, too!!

Gotta admire a lady who knows her gossamer. :)

how odd... I may be biased, just because the idea of a monkey with a straight-razor is a frightening proposition at best...
