scottobearHere I sit, contemplating a business proposition from one of my hippie-pals, Dave.
He wants me to go in partners with him on a venture. web-wise. My side would be ASP, database stuff, and his would be graphic design of a web site. My two reasons for giving pause are: 1- Working with a friend... I've seen a few friendships fall apart when put to the business litmus. I value my friendship with him much more than any business venture. 2- How much of my time will this take? Its going to be a profit-sharing thing, so no paychecks, just split rewards. I don't want a present-tense non-income to interrupt my search for present time money influx.
I know that I'll help him, at least. He's a good one with art, but the programming side is more my speed... Maybe I'll see if I can work on a consultation basis?
I still would like a good telecommunication gig.. Something to validate me getting DSL, and working in my boxers, kitten in lap. Anyone want to toss that job my way?

News for TMAN ... Robert is Fired as of Friday. (I guess he's not so lucky after all... we're changing all the locks and alarm codes after letting him go, too. )

Why are they changing the locks after he leaves? do they suspect him?
