Snatch Violence

An irate moviegoer, apparently blamed for kicking another's chair,
pulled out a can of pepper spray and doused his accuser Friday during an
evening show at the Shops at Sunset Place AMC Theater -- then sprayed a
police officer while trying to make his getaway.

i don't know if i ever mentioned but chris works for AMC. and last year, while we were at a wedding attended by a lot of AMC managers, they were discussing the incident out here where there was a shooting. you know what they're concerned about (other than customer saftely, of course) is how to replace the seating. i think there was blood and a bullet hole in the seat. those stadium seats are like $700-800 each. they talked about gun check points but that's really horrible and i don't think it'll ever be implemented.

yeah, and those are the "regular" stadium seats. the truly nice ones (i.e. the ones that can lean back) are upwards of $1000.
