Hello there, dear journal!

Current status is spending the day with BHK at Ch’Naca – Sadly for the business, it’s a slow one so far – been here since 9:30, and about 3 customers came in. Bagels for breakfast before we arrived, leftover pizza for lunch from last night’s trip to Selby’s. If I get hungry later, I have an emergency banana in the fridge here, too.

Negative thing about this summer - No sun tea has been made yet.

Positive thing about this summer – Fireflies still appear at twilight.

Garden about done for this season, I think. Zucs and cucs still left for harvesting, but the potatoes are all in, and I suspect the eggplant, lettuce and any root veggies left are through until next year. Pumpkins a re doing well, we should have a could of harvest looking veggies come autumn.

Pregnant friends are prepping to have babies all over the next few months. It’s kind of neat that both Angie Goff and Kim Martucci are both with child at the same time, too.

I’ve spent some time wondering if I was ever going to write another journal entry. I haven't felt much like it in recent days and when I have, there was something else that needed doing more. I’m glad that there was more than a little time available to me today and that the itch is starting to pick up again.

In health news, I’ve been a bit inconsistent with the cycling, but when I do it, I keep in the 8-12 mile range. trying to do it at least once a day, but it’s more like 3 or 4 out of every 7. Still doing stretches and regular exercise, and it seems like I’ve lost a little weight this summer, maybe thanks to the sweat factor. I’m ready for Autumn to arrive – I’m full of grilled food and am ready for cooler climes.

I’ve been getting a lot of interviews lately for full-time employment. Is it because I’m a freelance consultant now?

Good to see you're "back."

I've strayed too. I can't really bring myself to leave this place, but I can't really decide what to do with it, either.

It's always remained part of my daily - sometimes multiple times - routine. I've noticed I can get my old LJ name (simply my initials) back now.
