Yes it does! The asparagus from the garden sunk to the bottom...it was only one or two stalks but I HAD to include it because I was so happy to have it grow this year! The broccoli is from the store :D

That looks wonderful, and how awesome to use ingredients from your garden. I hope to do asparagus this winter--any tips would be appreciated. Get it--asparagus? Tips? Bwahaha! ;)

nyuk nyuk!!

It takes about 2 years for the asparagus to grow, but after that, it seems to just go crazy, like a weed, stalks growing nearly an inch a day with the right sun and water.
