Recieved a lovely letter from a swell person who really brightened my day... thanks Christin!! It made me very happy, and came when I could really use it. Got up too late to do my regimen (If anyone thinks I'm going to walk 5 miles in July /noonish /Florida, they're plumb loco. Ah well, I'll shower, sync and be on my way. Hope you all have a happy day!

I walked from our building to the bank about 10 blocks in Downtown (concrete ridden) Denver, in 98 degrees with a humidity level of like 10% (which is high for us).

It was suckie. I was sweatie. Not glistening.... sweatie. It was growdie.

I am now home in the airconditioned joy.

Hesitant about walking Herschel for a while until it cools down a little bit. Its bleepin' hot!

I am completely sympathetic. Here, it's not quite 98, more of like 92, but with 80% humidity... like walking through crisco soup. People with glasses get hit the worst, a thick haze of condensation forms everytime they cross from AC to the demon heat. (I like to call south florida "the devils armpit", just due to the warmth and moisture.) For newton's Sake, I leave the ac on at least 82 degrees, just to spare the little booger heatstroke. (and it makes the house oh so nice when I come home.) On the upside, I just got a new showerhead, and it rocks the cold shower party! Keep Cool!

a/c is the best....

I chill my house down to about 75. No more usually. Over the weekend I had the a/c off and the house got to about 85. It was horrible. I had no energy and now I know why!

The high was 106 yesterday. I am very relieved that I don't live in Pheonix. I would never survive.

Today it shouldn't be so hot here which is a huge relief because I have a ton of things to do.
