So, the day before Thanksgiving, and I’ve officially hit 5-digits in my entry numbering. Time to run another backup with lj-archive… let’s see how long it takes to grab all entries and comments.

November 25th means a lot of different things to me… It’s my father’s birthday – He’d have been 65 years old. He’s been gone over 20 years now. A year ago, a dear friend passed away, and I still miss her, too. Fortunately, I can remember the good stuff about them both very vividly and I hold much love in my heart for them.

I’ve acquired many blessings since I started this journal… Newton just about the same time it began, Pyewacket, and BHK of course… not to mention the family that came along with her. (Newton is actually pretty happy having a little brother in Pyewacket, too… though he’d never admit it.

To make things brief, I’m very blessed to know those folks I have, and to have the people in my life that I do. can’t ask for much more than that.
