9578 - Monday

Made tentative plans to get my Maryland drivers license next Saturday, as they're open from 830 to noon, and I don't need to get my allergy shots.

Following Saturday will be allergy shots, BHK teeth cleaning and my Crown checked. I still think that there's an infection there.

It was cold today mid 20's, but felt cooler, probably due to the bitter wind. Gray, overcast, but no rain or snow... just overcast.  I am thankful for my gloves and neck gaiter today... I think I heard my shadow crack when I stepped on it on the way home. All standing water (puddle-sized or less, anyhow) was covered with ice.

Watched Superstars of Dance tonight - A more cynical person might say that a more stereotypical collection of nationalities could not be found outside of a minstrel show. I was entertained, mostly by the Mr. Checkov-esque Russian Judge, who talked about Russian president and Russian drinking etc, etc. Yakov Smirnoff would blush.

BHK is to be commended for not killing me during my snarky commentary, filled with terrible Russian, Irish, and Australian accents.

Faith and Begorrah! The Irish got slammed - told they needed more personality by Australia and that the lad lacked virility by the South African. GP *loves* this show.. he asked what he had done to make me subject him to this show!

That South African judge was sooooo bitchy last night---maybe he had trouble drawing his moustache on before the show and it made him a little bit too grouchy!

Yeah I'm sorry to admit I wasn't feeling the Irish Dancers either but I wasn't feeling the South African ones or the Indian lady BIG time! It was all fast forward city until the American Popper came on and of course I had to hit play when the Russian judge came on so Scott could titter.

Poor GP---tell him he's in the same boat as Scott---one minute your watching Big Bang Theory and someone's wearing a Green Lantern shirt---you get up to get a soda and the next thing you know your wife has got control of the remote and you are watching some girly dance show and trying to figure out if the ads are selling shoes or deodorant or Diet Coke!!!!

Back has been pretty good lately - no spasms or extreme pain to slow me down, so I think I can at least make myself "legal" to get me places here and there.
