Since we saw the fireworks on the bay yesterday (fireworks at beaches are staggered - different cities do them on different days so you can attend them all week and weekend long), we did our own today. Matt and Tina came back over, as did Chris and Larry.

Matt helped me quite a bit with the grill and lighting of the pyrotechnics. We ate leftovers from the 3rd, still plenty of burgers, corn, and mac&cheese for the eating!

Not much aside form that, dear journal!

So odd...I never think about you guys being near anything beach-y. I think of lakes & rivers up there, but that's it. Though, I know I see nautical decor in some of the photos you guys share at times.

Well, we're on the Chesapeake Bay, not *really* on the ocean, per se. :)

We're right near annapolis, super sailing town.

Ok, I think Steve Rogers would frown upon some of the lyrics there, but overall that clip is a vast improvement on the actual movie...

Yeah, I suspect it was the crazy cap from the 1950's, when the real Rogers was still frozen in his iceberg.

It's sad when a captain america movie has you rooting for the red skull.
