OooooOoh. :))

So jealous. I'm gonna be back in the mountains for christmas, and all I want is snow. Seriously, I don't need any present other than snow.

I've already checked the last 5 years of December weather there, on WeatherUnderground.com....and only see sprinkles of snow, on a rare day here & there. Stupid January with lots of snow!!

Hopefully, the mountains will provide! :D

The forest behind the house will be pretty much bare thanks to winter. That means I'll be free to explore, without fear of bears lurking in heavily leafed trees, too. Woo!

Are there many bears in those woods? Shouldn't they be sleeping!

Silly bears!

There are lots 'o bears. Though, they *rarely* come out of the woods, unless there's a fire, or people leave food or trash out. There are NO trashbins in the area. You have to drive half a mile to a fenced in area, where garbage trucks come by. So that helps..but some peeps are still goobs.

Good question. I asked my dad when exactly the bears begin hibernation. Only when it snows...or pre-snow..or what? He thought that was the funniest thing, and chuckled so much, that I never got an answer. ;)

Oh, and bears in NC (& surrounding areas) usually don't hibernate as early (sometimes not till January), or for as long a time period, as bears up North. Plus they wake up from hibernation more often than bears in uber-cold states. So, I worry about that. My dad likes to chuckle at my worry wart-ness. ;)

Ah... that makes sense. Well, leave those hungry and grumpy bears alone if you see 'em!!

Oh! I could swear you have an Ipod?

J. gave me one for Xmas, and I'm getting confuzled on putting (non-Itunes) mp3's and movies on it - with means other than Itunes itself. I downloaded Winamp to do it, but somehow screwed it up several times.

What program do you guys use, and is it easy?

Was a complete surprise! I figured one day, I would buy a simple one with mp3 capability only, but the Nano he got me plays video, too. I was stunned. The vid quality is fab.

Okay, thanks! :0)
Tell her I'm not looking for someone to need to give me freebie instructions...just trying to figure out who uses a program that's easy to use!
