Date: 2000-12-16 10:56 pm (UTC)I didn't realize Tim Burton was going to direct it. In general, I like his stuff(especially "Edward Scissorhands"), and his style is always evocative, but I was disappointed by how he handled "The Headless Horseman" - it's like he couldn't quite pick a tone for the movie, he kept alternating between serious gothic and comic book gore. I felt it could have been so much better storywise (it's a good story, after all, but he butchered it), though the sets were great.
