Much work today... full day, lots of stuff accomplished. Budgety, programmy, webby goodness.

After much work, came home and took BHK out to eat at the Calypso Bar. Jean, our server was helpful and guided us to some tasty treats- The chocolate-chip banana cake was a lot better than I might've guessed, otherwise.

One side effect of dinner was that we were both prone to chittering after supper... too much caffeine, mayhap.

After supper, we headed back home and hit the sack pretty rapidly.

Were you chittering last night? I don't remember you being chittery--I remember it more as me being what's is now characterized as "chittery" and you being bemused.

Do chickens chitter? Maybe they cluck.

If I can't have a puggle for my birthday can I have a duck from the Amish market? Although honestly---I've already bought him so I guess asking is a moot point--I dropped by the market on the way home and bought a duck for my birthday. He's a mallard and I've named him "Stan". I think he's going to have to stay in the bathroom for a while until we build some kind a hutch. Pyewacket and Newt have informed me that they are going to move to grandma's with their cousin Tigger---not really but Pye's under the rug again.

I was chittering a little, you were a little bit moreso, perhaps the chiller dulled my chitteryness.

Chittering is more little bird peeping, I think... or at least that's how I envisioned it.. not like greasy black birds, but little peepy-chicks.

A duck, eh? A boy duck, so we can't even get eggs??

Stan... Is he named for Stanky Stan of Sweet Sue's?

Poor little hidey-pye... we need to take a picture of his under-rug stalker cuteness!

I can tell by your tone of voice that you don't believe me---but oh boy are you getting a suprise when you come home. Mom's already yelled at me but I couldn't leave him in the cage there---he looked sad. I've already found a vet for him and we have to take him on Sat morning to get some shots.
