Glad to hear good things about moot - he's going to be a papa yet again, sometime in the coming months ahead, sometime before thanksgiving.

BHK went to visit Misti & co – Em is sick, in the hospital with some sort of tick-borne illness that’s not lyme or Rocky Mountain spotted fever. MN & crew were coming this weekend, but now it may be just Neil.That's sort of a bummer, but I'm glad that Em is doing better - BHK brought Blink up with her, and Em took a shine to it... so it's hers now. Apparently she's won the last two of three games.

WSJ: How the Presidents Stack Up. Not a lot of clear winners in my lifetime.

I have absolutely, positively write my bro another letter before the end of the week.

Seeing those Presidential approval ratings side by side is very interesting, and full of surprises. I would never have guessed that Clinton was not only the only President of that lot whose approval rating was higher at the end of his career than it had been when he entered the office, but that he ended up with the highest approval rating any of them had on leaving office. Maybe it pays to be impeached?

Blood

This is wonderfully odd. I had you on the brain all day Wednesday. I gave blood for the first time. I had wanted to since I learned that you made a habit of it, but I put it off over the years. I finally made the appointment last week and it was a breeze. Next appointment is set for Aug, 8.

I credit you for planting the seed. I wanted to message you all day and tell you about it, but work and family...

btw, thank you for all the well wishes and nice words! Looks like the land of Scotto is a busy one as of late. Hope you are enjoying it all!

Good on you! I'm glad that you donated... that's some good stuff flowing around in there, and it's very kind of you to spare some.

Scotto-ville is indeed a busy little place lately, but I expect things to settle to a dull roar soon enough. It's certainly been a lot of fun.
