sing it like it's the 1940s!
Dec. 10th, 2000 10:25 pmLife is a dream, yet it's so real.
Hard to explain, just how you feel.
Deep in your heart, joy seems to dwell.
Like poets say, it's perfectly swell.
In every step, of this old dance,
There is delight, love and romance.
If you are the one, give me the few,
And I am sure there's no one like you.
You are all I dream.
You are a part of my heart and esteem.
And since I've met you,
Now I know that dreams do come true.
Love is a dream, yet it's so real.
Hard to explain, just how you feel.
Deep in your heart, joy seems to dwell.
Like poets say, it's perfectly swell.
Hard to explain, just how you feel.
Deep in your heart, joy seems to dwell.

Date: 2000-12-10 09:52 pm (UTC)Damn, but I miss Phil Hartman, though...
Sigh. I sometimes wish my life were a musical.
I keep hoping to convince a group of people to agree to suddenly break into premeditated song and dance in the middle of a supermarket or a music store or something... It would be a beautiful and unusual act.
Ach, just another silly thought from a sleepyheadedmunchkin :P Goodnight!
Wow...

Date: 2000-12-11 08:39 am (UTC)I'm a sucker for ballads, for romance songs and things that make my heart go melty.
I'm a sucker for someone who makes me smile without reminding me to.
Phil Hartman did that in so many ways on such a regular basis. From his time on SNL (back in the really good years :)) Come on, who can forget Frozen Caveman Lawyer "I'm just a cave man, unfrozen by your scientists, confused and terrified by your world. All of these "flying machines"... and oh- all the voices he did for the Simpsons. I'd love to have a tribute print of all his characters there. Troy McClure's career is finally over. I'm sure he's in heaven though starring in such hits as "What's to Miss-- why Heaven is the place to be" and "Aren't you Glad you were a believer?"
*sigh*
Love is a dream...
