at least that's how I remember the theme song. It's been a while, though. I loved Krofft Superstars... Land of the Lost... Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Dr Shrinker, the Bugaloos, Lidsville... *sigh* they just don't make television like that anymore...
I didn't forget HR Puffinstuff... I just couldn't remember the name... I kept thinking "the one with the flute... the one with the magic flute..." but it was late and my brain was not fully functioning! I have two videotapes from the early 90s when Nick at Nite did a Krofft Superstar marathon - now I must go to my VCR and watch! And and AND - thru the miracle of Napster, I was able to download the best theme show of them ALL - Land of the Lost!!!!! Ooo... I'm in nostalgia heaven now!!!
I just found your LJ while doing a Google search about H.R Puffinstuff because I've just started the h_r_puffinstuff community after my hubby gave me the DVD set for Christmas! :) I, too, loved all those old shows and seeing these episodes really rekindled my imagination.
