Happy 6th birthday, dear journal!

Went Clothes shopping yesterday, and got some pretty snazzy duds (if I do say so m'self), most notable was a fresh pair of walking sneakers, and some boxer-briefs. I've never had this type of strange hybrid undies before, and so far, they're quite comfy. Not sure if I prefer 'em to regular boxers, yet.

Much like that first entry, I don't have much to say, at the moment. I'm dashing out the door, and running wicked late. More ot follow this evening, I imagine.

Have a wonderful day, dear journal.

Pretty proud of the company's track record the last week or so... we went from 143 to 151 successful recoveries over the course of 7 days. That kind of bog of paperwork, I can cope with.

Moment of Lyric - mp3

I certainly haven't been shopping for any new shoes
And I certainly haven't been spreading myself around
I still only travel by foot and by foot it's a slow climb
But I'm good at being uncomfortable so I can't stop changing all the time

I noticed that my opponent is always on the go
And won't go slow so as not to focus and I notice
He'll hitch a ride with any guide as long as they go fast from whence he came
But he's no good at being uncomfortable so he can't stop staying exactly the
same

If there was a better way to go then it would find me
I can't help it the road just rolls out behind me
Be kind to me or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it I'm an extraordinary machine

I seem to you to seek a new disaster every day
You deem me due to clean my view and be at peace and lay
I mean to prove I mean to move in my own way
And say I've been getting along for long before you came into the play

I am the baby of the family
It happens so everybody cares
And wears the sheep's clothes while they chaperon
Curious you're looking down your nose at me while you appease
Courteous to try and help but let me set your mind at ease

If there was a better way to go then it would find me
I can't help it the road just rolls out behind me
Be kind to me or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it I'm an extraordinary machine

Do I so worry you
You need to hurry to my side, it's very kind
But it's to no avail
I don't want the bail
I promise you everything will be just fine

If there was a better way to go then it would find me
I can't help it the road just rolls out behind me
Be kind to me or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it I'm an extraordinary machine

If there was a better way to go then it would find me
I can't help it the road just rolls out behind me
Be kind to me or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it I'm an extraordinary machine

Other Scott is a fan of boxer-briefs. Doesn't like the looseness and bunchiness of regular boxers, and I don't like how weird he looks in briefs. It's a happy medium. :)

Briefs are pretty goofy. (my one big gripe with superheroes is the batman/superman "undies on the outside" syndrome.

As a longtime boxer guy I was wary of the amalgamated boxer-briefs but now I like them pretty well, still wear both types.

Was he related to the angry couple who lived upstairs?

Hah he was the crazy old guy who would go outside raving in his underwear sometimes. I help his wife rangle him in a few times you might have been there once when it happened.

I vaguely remember a crazy person that needed herding, but the undie-factor eluded me!

I rarely forget encountering neked old dudes at my front door....
I figured you'd have 'met' him also, you spend about half as much time as I did at the Village on the Lake I think, for a while there ;)

oh yeah, she was upstairs. I remember helping her look for her shoe once while she waited for the cops to come. What colorful neighbors we had out there.

My mind is clearly damaged as I had to make a conscious effort to maintain an attention span long enough to see your icon go full loop. I am so happy it's Friday, now I'll get to work uniterrupted for a couple of days! (how's that for glass-half-fullness?)

I had never seen your first post before, I was tempted to comment there, but I thought it might damage the historical integrity.

Will I ever go back to doing 6-8 entries a day?

I think not!
