Met with the momster after work yesterday, and reviewed some options regarding the grandmomster. Her brother has power of attorney, but it looks like he's cleaning her out while grandmuh-mah slowly fades from reality on double doses of sedatives and Alzheimer's's. minimal highlights for future ref: mom 25%, di 25%, doug 50%, after sig's college is paid. Speaking of little sig, bigger sig's bought a building in Colorado and will be doing some more real estate shortly. There are a lot of sibling infighting on mom's side of the family. Dad's side just dies early from accidents.

Getting hotter out.. and the dragonflies (and damselflies) are *everywhere*. I remember when I was very young, I thought that they were poisonous and that they stung like scorpions. A few varieties out there, but mostly the brown ones with the striped wings, and the blue-bottle-glass looking damsels.

Thanks... she goes back and forth... I honestly didn't think she'd make it to this year, but now, she's physically a bit healthier, but her lucidity varies daily.

I'm sorry about your grandma. :( I hope that your mom's (or yours) plan/options work out for the best.

My parents had to put up with some greedies, who became unhinged when my step-grandma had a stroke, and then later died (I didn't journal about her stroke or passing). The greedies stopped talking to my step-mom 3-years ago, because they can't handle that she kept their disgusting greediness in check. I'm glad the greedies are idiots in not speaking to her -- It means they stay away from my hard-working, honest family.
